Hello! I’m Cathy…
I am a mom of 2, living on the coast of Connecticut with my husband, director of operations, Chris, and little rescue dog, Pancake. We live in our dream home, a coastal farmhouse right across from the sea, built in 1804…thankfully it has plumbing now.
I started out an abstract oil painter in college at San Jose State University and UCLA. After starting a family, I taught myself photoshop and began a 10+ year successful photography business. During some downtime, I started playing and painting on my iPad…combining my experience in website building, photoshop, and my first love: painting. I enjoy painting fast, so the fact that painting on an iPad has no “dry” time was a big plus. Since I began my digital painting in 2014, I have painted thousands of paintings, illustrations, and patterns that have been sold around the world.
I am an exciteable person, prone to talking loudly, and stopping to talk to every dog I see. The joy I get from animals fills me up to overflowing and I hope that comes through in my paintings. When I am not painting, you can find me gardening, paddleboarding, cuddling our pup, or working out on our Peloton…hardly ever at the same time.
